A man named Juan Carlos Gomez, 23, is in trouble for allegedly stealing a car from Big Tree RV Park in DeSoto County on Sunday. The car was left unattended to cool down, and Gomez saw his chance to make a move. He took the opportunity and drove off with the stolen vehicle. However, his joyride was short-lived as he was quickly tracked down and detained nearby. Thankfully, the stolen car was found undamaged and still running at a nearby business. Gomez is now facing charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle.
