Recreational Investment Group Plans to Build New RV Resort in Camp Verde, Arizona
PHOENIX — Recreational Investment Group LLP has announced its plans to develop a new RV resort in Camp Verde, Arizona. The company recently purchased nearly 16 acres of land at the northwest corner of Highway 260 and Dickison Circle, making it easily accessible for travelers on Interstate 17 and State Route 260.
The vacant property is located within an opportunity zone, which is a classification tool for low-income communities across the United States that can benefit from economic growth and job creation. This land was the second-to-last parcel available for purchase within the opportunity zone and was sold by Verde Valley Holding Company LLC.
Recreational Investment Group LLP has already fulfilled its obligations by engineering the site and obtaining town approvals and permits.
Capri Barney, a representative of Land Advisors Organization’s Prescott office, expressed excitement about the development, stating, “It’s great to see this property being used to serve the broader community. With its C-3 zoning and status as an Opportunity Zone property, there was high interest from RV community developers. Additionally, the prime location of the property, with easy access to various Northern Arizona communities, makes it the perfect spot for a community with more affordable residential options.”
In March 2023, Verde Valley Holding Company LLC sold 26.63 acres of land at the southeast corner of Highway 260 and Homestead Parkway to Camp Verde Land Holdings, LLC. The property was then converted into a build-for-rent community.
