Plans for a proposed RV park and campground on East Fairview Road in Rockdale County are facing strong opposition from local residents. They have raised several concerns about the proposal.
At a meeting on August 8, the Conyers-Rockdale Planning Commission heard from over a dozen residents. Following the discussion, the commission unanimously recommended denying a Special Use Permit requested by Eugene West from Wilmington, Del. The final decision will be made by the Rockdale Board of Commissioners at their meeting on August 22.
