Did you know that flying a kite at the Outer Harbor is not exactly encouraged? However, there’s another activity that seems to be gaining popularity in the area – remote controlled (RC) vehicles. Last year, I wrote about the Lakeside RV Crawler Park, and now it seems like a new phase of the park has been completed. This section of the RV park features a flatter terrain, resembling a dirt race track with ramps for jumping.
Located between the two distinct RV parks is a gravel area with picnic benches, Adirondack chairs, and various other seating arrangements. This gravelly spot serves as a place for relaxation and also an extension of the RV park, where enthusiasts can set up their machines, have a picnic, test their gear, or simply spectate.
It’s worth mentioning that the Lakeside RV Park is situated next to the Lakeside Bike Park, which is part of the Lakeside Complex. So, if you’re into both RC vehicles and cycling, this could be your ultimate destination for outdoor fun!
