The Port of Woodland recently acquired the Columbia Riverfront RV Park in Woodland for approximately $6.5 million. This nine-acre RV park, located along the Columbia River, is nestled between existing Port of Woodland properties. It features 76 sites, a pool, and a clubhouse. Interestingly, the Port of Woodland previously owned this property before selling it to its previous owners. The acquisition aligns with the Port’s goals to expand and diversify its operations.
The Port of Woodland plans to maintain the RV park’s function as an RV park and operate it. They have outlined several projects, including upgrading the clubhouse to make it ADA-accessible, enhancing the deck, upgrading the pool’s filtration system, and sealing the parking lot. These operations are expected to be completed by 2025.
The Port has retained four of the current employees at the RV park and will hire two more full-time staff members to help maintain it. While some employees declined to continue, Debbie Carlson, the port’s office manager, has taken on the role of RV park manager. The port staff expects a busy first week with a high turnover of 22 reservations during the Labor Day weekend.
The Port of Woodland aims to ensure visitors have a great and safe experience on their property, maintaining the same quality experience they have had over the years. For more information about the Columbia Riverfront RV Park, visit columbiariverfrontrvpark.com.
