In a bid to support small businesses in the area, the Leslie County RV Park held its first farmers market on Saturday morning. Dozens of people flocked to the park to participate in the event, which aimed to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to sell their products.
Small businesses in the area often face challenges when it comes to selling their goods. Recognizing this, Jeffery Holland, the new owner of the Leslie County RV Park, decided to open up the park as a venue for local entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products.
Holland expressed his motivation behind the initiative, saying, “Many guys pick produce every week and to sell it they have to go out of the county and we have a great place for it. We’re just trying to allow everyone to come and display their products and hopefully make some money and help them out.”
The farmers market at the Leslie County RV Park will now be a regular event held every Saturday, providing a consistent platform for small businesses to reach customers and generate income.
