“Heroic Cal Fire Team Stops Potential Disaster at Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds—You Won’t Believe How!”

## RV Fire at Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds

A fire destroyed an RV at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds this week.

### What Happened?

Cal Fire got a call around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. The RV was fully on fire near the fairgrounds’ entrance at 2601 E. Lake Ave., Watsonville.

### Firefighters’ Quick Response

Firefighters from Cal Fire, Pajaro Valley Fire Protection District, and Santa Cruz County Fire Department rushed to the scene. They put out the fire in 20 minutes, stopping it from spreading to other RVs.

### Investigation Ongoing

The cause of the fire is still being investigated. It’s unclear if anyone living in the RV was displaced.
