Residents of Belleview Hills RV Park in Ocala Face Sudden Eviction
Last week, residents at Belleview Hills RV Park in Ocala were shocked to learn that the property had been sold and they were being asked to leave. The original owners of the park informed neighbors through a letter that they had until August 19 to vacate the premises.
The first letter received by residents stated that the property would be redeveloped, causing concern among the community. However, a subsequent letter from the new owners clarified that only lots 16-46 needed to be vacated.
While some RV owners are not surprised by the sudden eviction, as they have experienced similar situations in the past, others are left feeling uncertain about their future.
Thomas Johnson, a resident of Belleview Hills RV Park, shared his nonchalant reaction to the news, saying, “I just looked out and it was on the door. No big deal, I’ve been to a lot of them where they kick people out because of some reason or other.”
It is important to note that residents living in mobile homes have received a different letter and have not yet been instructed to leave the property.
This is a developing story, and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
