Hey there! Big news for RV owners in Colorado Springs. goHomePort just had a grand opening for their new RV Service and Repairs shop. They even had a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate.
### Colorado Springs Gets a New RV Service Spot
goHomePort, which started in 2020 to make RV life easier, opened its fourth shop in Colorado and sixth in the U.S. The new place has four top-notch service bays. Mike Douglas, the president of goHomePort, said they’re pumped to bring their quality service to Colorado Springs.
“We want to be the go-to place for RV owners,” Douglas said. “Our team is amazing, and it was great to celebrate with everyone.”
### Ribbon Cutting and Fun
The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC hosted the event. Dean Tarantino, the director for Colorado, cut the ribbon. After that, guests enjoyed some networking and an open bar.
“The timing is perfect for the 2024 recreational season,” said Tarantino. “We’re already getting calls and visits from people who see us near the DMV. Our big Grand Opening balloon even attracted selfie-takers!”
### Special Recognition in Michigan
Meanwhile, in Warren, Michigan, goHomePort got a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman John James’ office. This happened at the ribbon-cutting for their new Metro Detroit shop.
Lisa Damon-Brown from Congressman James’ office presented the award. Mike Douglas and Mike Low, the operations manager, accepted it. Local officials and business owners also attended.

The Warren shop is located with Warren RV Storage at 6900 E. 14 Mile Road. They offer valet service for RV owners who store their vehicles there. The new shop has four service bays and promises short wait times and top-notch service.
